My brother is Navy (retired) and said years ago when it came out that the movie was very accurate.

Other than that though...

He was a bubblehead, you cannot watch Hunt for Red October with him, he'll drive you nuts.

I saw that movie in the theatre with a girlfriend.
She said she'd never see another navy movie with me again.

Trailer 2 dropped yesterday. This looks really, really good.

This maybe a stupid question but is Tom flying his own jet in this movie? The reason I ask is we know Tom does all his own stunts, he knows how to fly and he did all his own helicopter stunts in the last Mission Impossible movie. Not only is he a great actor he has to be one of the best stunt guys out there.

I think it will be a good movie for those of us who liked the first one. I was a little surprised when I brought up the original as one of my favorite movies that the majority of that particular audience thought it was lame.

And I have run into other that expressed a similar view of it.

Oh, well. We all have different tastes and we watch movies for different purposes. For me, it's the "entertainment value".

I thought Kelly McGillis on the back of the Ninja was pretty hot in the first one.

lol. Yeah, like I said several people have expressed dislike for the movie. And I have not seen any of them in over a year so far.
