I think it’s a bad idea to assume Trump should win at this point. He has a good chance to win. Doesn’t mean he will. People are high-fiving because Trump is gaining unprecedented ground among non-whites. That’s premature. We’re one George Floyd incident from losing that.

And how’s he doing with whites?

You are sitting in the middle of a realignment zone in Carmel, a once red area is at best purple because of the realignment of higher educated going left…
Our mayoral race reflected us being more red than purple. Reflects the suburban distaste for Trump, but not necessarily the electorate moving.

If you look at the policies Trump had in place, they really weren't all that different from a typical Republican administration, except we didn't become entangled in any new wars. We bombed some people, yeah. But nothing chamber-o-commerce neocons wouldn't have done. So will Carmelites vote for Biden because Trump is literally Hitler?

Honestly, people should have a healthy distaste for any politician. And if it's a contest of distaste, does Joe Biden really taste better? :dunno:

Policies don’t matter to everyone. Some people don’t like the man. He’s not everyone’s cup of tea.

But, does that mean they either sit it out, or vote for Biden. Is he really closer to their cup of tea? I mean, geez. What has poisoned the water up there? It's an election of least evil where both are pretty far up there on the evil scale. But one is way more dangerous for the American way of life.

Biden is either so incompetent that he's accidentally destroying the country, or he's actually trying to destroy the country. Given the ClownWorld™ policies he supports, it looks more like the latter. And he's arguably a pedo. Is still or at least has been selling the influence of his office around the world.

Trump has decent policies that most conservative presidents have, and most Republicans want, but he ****s pornstars while his wife is pregnant, brags about how he can grab women by the *****, and is a narcissist, and is inconsistent on guns, Choices suck. Neither are moral standouts. But one at least has better policies than the other. Pick one.

If you think that a 'typical Republican administration' would have followed through on a commitment to renegotiate NAFTA or strong-armed Mexico to stop illegals before they got to our border, you are clearly delusional

You are so fond of your 'rational, evidence-based thinking' please cite any 'typical Republican administrations' that have ever done such things, of use to ordinary people, in the past. I'll wait

Damning someone with faint praises is actually a thing

Policies don't matter anymore! Where did you spend the last four years? Under a rock (nursing your hatred of Trump)?

It would be hilarious to savor notTrump exhibit every cult-o'-personality behavior, projected upon us in defense of their inability to admit they were wrong, if it wasn't so sad and destructive

It's a 'hem of the garment' situation. neverTrump thinks to be free from visible exterior soil is the same as being rightuous, thus they desperately need to keep that robe pulled up

They're 'better than that', you see

I would think that is virtually guaranteed because the prosecution will be enabling it however possible

I believe peremptory challenges are limited in number

WTF dude, calm the **** down. The point wasn’t comparing specific policy for policy differences. It was that Trump’s policies were not anything average voters should be upset with. But you tweaked yourself off if you feel like someone hasn’t properly sucked Trump’s twig. You know?Sometimes you guys really get in your own way. Maybe try not wearing your offense on your sleeve.
