Voter #1 in my precinct this morning.

Donnelly was losing when I left.

There were a dozen of us in line when they opened the doors. About 30 cars in the parking lot when I left. That's crazy big turnout for our little precinct at 6AM. At that rate, everybody in the township will have voted by 7:30, including the Democrats from the cemetery next door.;)

Braun gets an "upset" victory of Donnelly, which leads to a larger GOP majority in the Senate, but not a supermajority. Just a buffer.

Indiana House incumbents all win, but Dems get a 10+ majority in that house.

The Indiana constitutional amendment thing passes, setting the stage for more borrowing by the state. Not sure if that'll be good or bad in the long run.

This season, I've probably answered 10 polling calls, dodged another 10, and didn't answer that combined number.

How can you guys know Donnelly was losing? Just by talking with people?

    .

I absolutely KNOW he was losing in my precinct when I left cause I was voter #1. And... Well... You know. I didn't vote for him.;)

It took me longer to drive the 1 1/2 miles to the place I vote at than the time I was in the building. Seven machines and it didn't look like people had to think about who they wanted. I think they will be seeing a lot of straight party voting this time.

Yeah, if it wasn't for all the "Should Judge so-and-so be retained?" questions, I'd have been out in about 5 seconds.

Most of the "experts" I've seen are using a standard midterm voter turnout model, which means less voters. In that scenario, incumbents usually do pretty well - especially the ones who've pretty much kept their head down.

In a situation with a high voter turnout, in a Red State like Indiana, that can mean real problems for a Dem. Trump is something like +18 in Indiana, so the numbers would suggest the higher the turnout, the better for Braun.

Wow. C**t-chat turns into ****-chat. Didn't expect that one, unless I misstyped it.

I can be very dense sometimes. It happens. I do know ****-chat happens, amongst neighbors, etc ..., and that's what I was thinking, but now it's obvious, when I look at the times people voted. Did I mention I can be dense at times?

I find it curious that my union officials haven't sent any emails or pushed anything about voting. My wife (teacher's union) hasn't said anything about her officials flipping out about voting, and she normally mentions things like that. They usually say something at least...

Maybe they got the message and know whose side we took?

Republicans gain 20-30 seats in the House and we are looking at a 60+ Republican Senate.

The Democrats really have no idea how badly they have screwed up.

New voters are through the roof.

There are tons of voters who voted for Obama and even Hillary that will vote Republican from Walk Away and Blexit movements.

Suburban moms want secure borders not open borders.

Everyone that wasn't already a Democrat sycophant cringed at the Kavanaugh confirmation.

    Its gonna be brutal.
Honestly this is what I'm believing too. I really think it's going to be a symbolic bloodbath for the Democrats. I think Republicans are going to hold this election as the greatest election for their party in the history of this country. Yep even better than 2016
And Katie bar the door 2020 is going to see Trump reelected and beautiful things for our nation for decades to come

I'll be curious to see which way the dems go if they break even or lose ground. Whole hog on the socialist antifa bandwagon, back to working man roots, or more of the same even if it's losing ground.

I think so many dems are once again crossing over and voting Republican. People are afraid to admit publicly that they support trump and the Republicans because of the violence on the left. But proof is in the pudding. I believe Americans still have American values and still want to put America first and only one party is standing for America and it's the Republicans. I really believe we are going to see something YUGE today. But we must continue to hold the Republicans feet to the fire even after election day. Make sure they do their jobs in office
