It won't be nearly as difficult as you think. If we've kept India and Pakistan from wiping each other off the map, how difficult do you think it will be to convince a state that's highly dependent on Russia (Syria), and another who is falling out of favor with NATO, in line?
Which is it Kut? Is Russia going to easily keep the peace or are they going to stoke the fires and make more "turbulence"? You can't have it both ways. Why would Russia do that? Putin has pegged his entire economy on.... oil. A turbulent Middle East is good for business, and good for Russia.

I for one am happy that our young soldiers aren't in harms way there anymore. If the Russians want to spend money and lives on it, that is their problem.
Turkey and Syria have little to no impact on the price of oil, so I am not really sure what you think he is gaining. It isn't like you are talking about Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Iraq. It's BOTH. Putin is easily the smartest head of state on the planet. He can keep things from spinning out of control, while at the same time keep enough "stuff" going, that the world media will lament the treatment of the people in the region. His only concern is keeping Syria and Turkey from getting into it, domestic turmoil? He's be all about that.
