Based on my life experience GOD sure does like to see killing and destruction?
I wonder if the Devil likes bloodshed ?

    Joan of Arc
    That is one sad story.

The place where she was burnt alive, in the center of a square, is local to me.
    She's a local hero.

Or, God believes in Free Will, and is saddened by what he sees. And the Devil doesn't follow the rules, and is gleeful over what he sees.

    That kinda freaks me out!
Its nice that it looks peaceful.
Here in the US it would be an amusement park.

She was jailed, judged, tortured near that square in a medieval casttle that has now been destroyed.
Only one tower remains, called the Joan of Arc tower.
Lots of statues of her all over the city on at the spot where she was burnt alive.
Lots of history in that city.
During WW2 the Germans occupied the tower and painted it camo to avoid it from becoming a target during Allied air raids.

I was thinking three days of prayer might be an option too for these deeply religious people.

Pfft. That's not going to make world news.

Come over to the Civil Christian Discussion thread - we'll set you straight on this! :):

Since I'm posting, I'll go on record: I'm now a fan of this move by Trump. At least someone finally told the Palestinians, "Look, you were never going to get Jerusalem; everyone knew it was never going to happen. Now we can stop pretending and move forward."

You could also think of it as: The longer you choose to negotiate in bad faith, the less we are willing to give.

I wonder why Obama is not publicly supporting Trump for his decision to move the US embassy to Jerusalem.:dunno:

I looked at Obama's Twitter feed he has been silent on the issue.
At least he's not condemning Trump for for it.

My opinion is that this was a good move if only for the fact that everyone is screaming that we are no longer a credible broker for peace negotiations.

Good riddance to a problem spot that has confounded every administration since Carter.
