    I don't understand what you're asking/saying.

I will summarize my thoughts: the actual conflict among the persons named was silly, but I really don't care about it. It was failure all around, but one party involved is someone who does not interact with other people well and has a long history of that. All of that was failure. The bigger failure was the self-righteous whining from perpetual victims whose objections were based on use of words that offended them in a forum that was based on purposely being offensive. I don't care much about how the conflict itself was resolved because one party (Mike Foley) is my friend, one seemed to bury the hatchet, and one is someone I do not respect and probably never will. What irritates me is the whining that ensued over the words used.

Yes this. You are truly a wordsmith. Members that would not vote for Foley because of this may be missing the boat.

The election is how the members decide.

Also Rick Steele the Area 5 director is a good guy and very receptive to member comments.

For those interested in who Mike Valentine is, he was interviewed on Ben Stoegers podcast (Practical Shooting After Dark) Episode 50. Not many know who he is, myself included. I am still up in the air on which to vote for but that episode at least kind of let me know who he is and what things he is interested in changing. I met Foley at the sectional match and he seemed to be a good guy in person, but some of his past actions have made it hard for alot of people to respect him. Being someone that just joined USPSA last year, I really do not know how things were before Foley but I have heard of the changes he has made and many of them are positive.

IMHO Mike Foley is the only choice. While not perfect he has brought USPSA a long way since he has been president. I want to see this continue. Foley is a shooter AND has experience running a not for profit corporation.

I agree, that's why I voted for Mike Foley. I have been a USPSA member for a long time, Foley has brought USPSA a long way under his leadership.

I got my post card with voting credentials, but my membership is expired.

Too much time in the "Hot Chicks Fishing " thread.:rockwoot: BTW if you spend some time on the Mike Valentine For USPSA President Facebook page it is clear he is not ready for the job. Seems like a nice enough dude but USPSA would be taking a step backwards IMO.

If you got the card then you should be good to vote.
you expire on the first of the month, but have access for 60 days.
    I expired inn July 1..
    I should probably renew

Okay, that right there is funny!

I have an ethical dilemma. I am able to vote, but I am not sure that I should. I do not intend to renew in the near future, nor participate in matches. I think maybe it should be left to people with some "skin in the game."

I maintain my membership, though I haven't shot in years.

    Mike still gets my vote.

Funny how I seem to see him all the time, in places other than matches, lol.

We are very fortunate to have Rick and Mike Foley. I don't agree with everything but I've been a member for 10 years and this is the first time I've felt we were moving forward instead of backwards or stagnant. Membership is growing. I get to complain about PCC and the ones that shoot it (has taken pressure off the open shooters). Life is good.

Oh, come on. Not one joke about the duplicate voter issue?. Not one?

    Russians? China? Ben Stoeger?

Are these nefarious entities tampering with our election process?

I figured it was Nancy Pelosi or AOC.

It's difficult to make jokes with all the transparency.
They sent us an email explaining the issue and the number of votes that were effected.
I would like for it to be more scandalous and unprofessional so we would all have something to ***** about on the internet..........

Wait a minute maybe I voted for the right person :dunno:

It was well handled, but a chuckle nonetheless.
