My wife’s car can burn 1.5 Gallons per Minute you can literally burn like 15 gallons in like 30 minutes if you are messing around if you just set the cruise and drive it’s like 22 mpg.

My car can get 25 mpg if you keep your foot out it it has the biggest motor you can buy in a normal car 6.4 liter or 392 cubic inches.

My wife traded her Cherokee because of the limited range and poor mpg around 15 MPG.
Her Rubicon gets about 3 mpg better at 18,ish MPG with a bigger tank.

Trailhawk is a trim level, not a model. If it sucks that bad, it's probably a Compass with the weak 2.4 liter 4 cylinder.

Either way, you're basically driving a Fiat.

Meanwhile in Italy: "The problem is-a, you're-a basically driving a Chrysler"

Ford 1 ton duelly. 460 gas engine with 4.10 gears. You could pull anything you wanted to. It got 8 MPG towing, not towing, idling, setting idle not running. No matter it avg. 8 MPG.

Towing to Bowling green in the hill country it avg. 7 MPG

    Twin tanks. 1 35 and 1 25.
1986 F250 same engine, same rear end, same mileage smaller tanks.

I get 9-10 in the Excursion with the 6.8L V10. However I have a 44 gallon tank, so that helps me from filling up every other day.

My '96 GMC K1500 5.7 gets 15 mixed, 18-20 highway, and 10 towing my 28' travel trailer. My '97 T-Bird gets 20 mixed, 25 highway. My '83 T-Bird gets 28-32 highway, depends on how much boost I use.

You are correct. When I stopped for gas I saw the Compass decal on the door. I made it to the airport with less than 1/8 tank. What poor performance for a 4 cylinder. Very "not impressed"!

    Yep. :):

Hard to say which is worse.

My 2000 LHS went over 300,000 miles and my 2013 Town & Country has 175,000 on it and is going strong. I get 18 miles per gallon in town and 27 on the highway. The LHS was a royal pain to work on but the Town & Country has been really solid. No complaints whatsoever and nothing cheap or inferior quality about the interior or fit and finish. I won’t hesitate to replace it with the rolling living room known as the new Pacifica when the time comes.

I challenge anyone to come up with a better all-around vehicle than a minivan, especially one with a trailer hitch and Stow-n’-Go seating.

My 77 F-250 4x4 with the 460 got around 6 mpg, you could drive across town and watch the gas gauge drop! It was loud, smelly, shook you half crazy, and guzzled fuel......man, I wish I still had that truck! I sold it sometime in 1984, and I’ve missed it ever since.:(

My Chevy Spark only has a range of about 325 miles or so, however, it only has an 8 gallon tank. I can normally fill up the tank with a $20 bill and get change back. I don't typically drive a lot, so this usually only happens once or twice a month depending upon if I took a longer trip somewhere. Y'all can laugh all you want at my little clown car, I don't want your gas guzzlers.

New Ford Explorers are also sucky on gasoline. We have 2 at work. Can't get from Indy to Evansville and back without filling up somewhere along the route. A too-big vehicle with a too-smal fuel tank = limited range. The 2 Dodge Caravans we have can make that trek and still have 1/4 tank left.

That said, my car's on board fuel mileage tracker said that I was tickling 40mpg on the way to work this AM.
