This morning I enjoyed a My Father Fonseca. It was a fantastic cigar! Might have to get a box and age some of them to see how much they improve.

Anyone use an acrylic jar, Tupperware, or cooler as a humidor? I have 3 traditional cedar wood humidors but added some "Tupperdors" for extra storage. I was wondering if anyone was doing the same and if they had any issues with get them damn chemical plastic smell out them and if they have affected the taste of the cigars after some time? I washed mine out a few times, left open to air out a few days, cleaned with baking soda but still have a slight smell in there. I have had some cigars in one of the jars for a month and the cigars haven't had any noticeable flavor change but concerned about the long term storage. Anyone have any experience with using this plastic storage method?

I've seen where you shouldn't use acrylic for cigars.

I use a custom made cedar humidor.

Here's a pic of it when I first brought it home several years ago.
It's much much much more full now and I have an active humidifier in it as well. Right now I have about 100 cigars in it.

    Let's see everyone's humidors

Nice. I'll try to post some pics of mine soon. I have two 25 capacity wood humidors. One 150-200 capacity chest wood humidor and just added two 20 count jars and a 30 count jar. Looking to get a new woodronic cabinet once they are back in stock.

More posts went missing since the first set went missing. I may go back in my cigar journal and repost what went missing. But for now I just had an Fuente Fuente Opus X yesterday. Very very good cigar, not doubt about that, but for me personally it doesn't warrant the cost. (other than a special occasion) I have found sticks in $10 range that equally please my taste.
