Shoot a couple test rounds in to the tank and then it usually clears the place so I can download in private.

I go to the end stall farthest away from people, slip it out of its holster, caress it gently and talk dirty to it.

Why did you want to know?

I guess now that that is public knowledge I won't be able to run for public office. Seriously is it so bad that I talk dirty to my gun? Its not like I drove a car into a river and let a girl drown.

LOL...I love this response although I don't talk dirty. I leave mine in my IWB holster and set it on the TP holder or hold it. It would fall out if I didn't.

What happens when you're not careful

I saw this on ConcealedCarry.net today:

Deseret News | Man hurt when gun blasts toilet (from January 2009)

The gun apparently fell out of his holster, hit the ground, and discharged.

Quite frankly, I would not want my gun back if I knew it would discharge when dropped. I mean seriously, dropping a gun is not that uncommon. I've never done it but have had folks next to me at the range drop their guns before.

It never concerned me too much because I was under the impression incidents like this wouldn't happen with modern safety features.

This is the one time that a lanyard (naturally with a lanyard loop attached to the weapon) pays for itself in gold. Hang the pistol from the lanyard on the coathook usually attached to the bathroom door.

Yes, Yes, I know, it sounds stupid, but it works.

Either that above, or wear a shoulder holster.

Usually there's a little hook on the back of the door. I can hang my rifle there while I do my business.

See what that gets the guy at 1:14
