Man if a single stack of 7 .45 rds wont stop him than 14 .45 better. Just got brand new night sights in case of zombie night attacks.

What handgun do you want to have with you in a Zombie/SHTF scenario??

I'm talking about typical carry handguns, something to back up that AR or AK when it fails or is out of ammo. No fully autos or sub machine guns.

Mine is my S&W Sigma 40ve. I have 2 of them and with 4 Mags each my capacity is 112 rounds.

I have shot over 3000 rounds through them with zero malfunctions and they eat up any ammo.

Also this thing is big enough and heavy enough to easily pistol whip someone to death!

I'm pretty accurate with it at 25-30 yds

I apologize up front if a similar thread has already been discussed.

I would choose my Ruger P85 stainless. Have been carring it for over 18 yrs 90% of the time it stays in the truck. It has had 1000's of rounds through it and keeps on ticking without a flaw.

My preferred choice would be my springfield 1911 or my 686. Both pack a little more punch than my glock 23 or my lcp. But I would probabaly be carring my glock and I have lots of ammo for that.

    Ladies and Gentlemen:
I present to you for your approval,
    The Ultimate Zombie handgun.
The Rock Island Armory 1911 A2
    Rock%20Island%2051452fc.jpg

It's relatively cheap, less than a glock.
    It's all steel.
It holds 14 in the magazine with one in the pipe.
    Surprisingly accurate.
45 ACP 1911 Hi capacity greatness.

If you want to go a little more money with a little better finishing you can go the Para Ordnance P14.45 route. They use the same magazines.
