I am bracing myself for the "How Much" part of the answering PM

See, that's a mistake! If you're going to do this knife thing right, you have to run at Brad with cash in your hands shouting "TAKE MY MONEY!"

He's only going to take what you will owe him. He's very fair!

I was on the phone to our enabler as I read this. G-10 will be in the mail 1st thing.

And I now hate all of you.

I'm just paying it forward from when I was on my self-imposed knife buying moratorium!

I THINK that I may be getting a Bawidamann Huginn for my upcoming birthday....

And I'd like a Microtech LUDT, too.

When is your birthday? And good luck!

It pains me to admit this, but rhino is right about Medford knives.

    They are simply wonderful.

    Meh.

Not that I doubt either of you on this one but that is a crap load of money for a knife (in my :n00b: new to this world opinion) and I want to fondle one of those brutes before I lay out that kind of money.

FULL DISCLOSURE: I do not now nor have I ever owned a Medford knife.

They are, however, very impressive tools. I prefer knives with significantly thinner blades for maximum slicey-ness, though.

I’m a little more, normal, than you guys :)

I want a Spyderco Para3. And the new Spyderco Shaman looks neat.
I still want a ZT0301. But I’m not ready to spend that much.

I just googled the Medford’s. Holy crap.

Welcome to the world of high end knives my friend. Where Dean Crail is King, Rhino is court jester and Brad is the guy who runs things in the shadows quietly encouraging our addiction.

I am for sure beat by a few guys on the forum who shall remain nameless, but I appreciate the sentiment none the less :rockwoot:

Last 6 that I saw sell went for $5200. Supers don't garner as much I guess. I'm waiting on my Custom Axe to hit $4K, it might be gone then.

Yeah Supers are not as desirable as they were not the "SEAL Team 6 Knife", I have had both in my hands and like the Super 6 better so the size difference is not a big deal for me. Still chaps my ass to this day that I only missed the Super 6 by 4 people in the 2015 lottery (though I am still thrilled with my Super Roadhouse)

(Mostly because this thread needs some knife porn, Emerson Custom Super Roadhouse the first with the "new" logo)

HMOG man.....stop it. Stop it now.
I am sure I could build my next custom 1911 for the asking price of that handsome piece.
