Hillary was on TV this morning, claiming she is in no way connected with this recount.
Knowing how the Clintons work - what does the above tell you?

(A little hint on why Jill Stein is the bag-lady for this).

If the intent is to "flip" the election via the Electoral College, Hillary cannot be seen as encouraging it, if she is to have any legitimacy afterward.

But - if they can raise this much money for a recount - think how much they can raise for "faithless electors," as compensation for stealing an election?

This is just a little show of financial power. If Electors are to stick their necks out in this manner, someone has to encourage them the risk is worth it, and somebody will cover their six no matter how it turns out. A few million bucks for a hopeless recount with no chance of succeeding? Just the tip of the iceberg, of how much Karma is out there, pulling for this election to go the other way.

It also looks like nobody has paid for it yet either. This truly looks like a money maker for Jilly.
Yeah I like the part about how that goofball De La Fuente is still exploring his options for paying his share of the recount fees. What an operation. :):

    The Article said:
In Dane County, which includes Madison, the computers used to prepare the ballot files loaded into voting machines are also not connected to the internet, meaning that it would take someone with physical access to the machines to hack them, County Clerk Scott McDonell said

With someone that misinformed in charge of the voting machines I'd ask for a recount too.

The flipside of the coin is that alot of people that had high hopes and contributed to this recount effort might be pretty peeved at Stein that it couldn't be pulled off and they gained absolutely no return on their investment.
Imagine how peeved the people who paid for a Clinton speech or made a Clinton Foundation donation. That is now an investment with absolutely no return (and no refunds).
