LOL. Hey. INGO can turn conversation topics on a dime.Wait. What are we talking about?
I an sure one of these infrastructure bills will rimun fiber to every houseNever fear guys. Help is on the way. Uncle Sugar Holcomb will be there shortly, with state grants to internet providers to run fiber to your door. It's like an information superhighway or something.
Oh shut up. I was stuck with 5mb dsl for $74 for years as that was my ONLY option. In Zionsville. Now we have Tmobile 5G for $50 and it feels like time travel.
We get 20 down and 1 up! That is actually a huge improvement for us, especially being this far out in the country.
Sounds like you guys need Starlink, it's amazing!Internet access is getting better, but is still abysmal, especially if you live in a very rural area. I'm 20 - 25 minutes outside of Indy and have had ATT fiber for about 5 years. Before that it was Comcrap service. While ATT DSL sucks hard, their fiber service (1Gig up and down) has been fantastic.
I still remember being in the middle of nowhere in rural Minnesota in 98 and being ecstatic that they had SDSL service (256k) for $50 a month and it was good service. That was when dial up was still common.
We have it when the power is out now as well. Starlink is way too expensive for us.Sounds like you guys need Starlink, it's amazing!
I had Starlink a few months before the power company ran fiber down our very rural road. Now I'm on 1gb service for $93 a month and when we lost power for days, it was still up...
The T-Mobile deal is hard to beat. We tried it but signal was too weak.We have it when the power is out now as well. Starlink is way too expensive for us.
I hope your life wasn't flashing before your eyes as you were hanging on to those last precious moments of life.I happen to be very hungry at the moment. I won't get my bacon for another hour or two.
Ours has been stellar. Downloads speeds around 120-180 upload 10-20. Compared to 5.2 down and 0.5 up with the DSL it feels amazing. The T-Mobile deal is hard to beat. We tried it but signal was too weak.
That is only because all the warehouses are holding the signal in for you,..Ours has been stellar. Downloads speeds around 120-180 upload 10-20. Compared to 5.2 down and 0.5 up with the DSL it feels amazing.
I will see what I can do…. Yes, faster internet in rural areas will let all of us white guys finally learn about what the gubmint is doing to our rahts. This is where the mythical “silent majority” lives. In the woods and blissfully unaware of the wider world, because of slow internet. I hear tell there is something called “amazing, Amahon, Amazon, or something g like that where you can tell total strangers to bring stuff to you on trucks. Apparently all you have to do is give them some numbers off of a piece of plastic! Not even money or gold!I'd like to see the discussion circle around with how the hillbillies getting Internet access will cause more rage. I figure by lunch it'll be there, then back to food discussions...
I hate you. This, this is the white rural rage I know. That is only because all the warehouses are holding the signal in for you,..

Internet speeds and ups/fedex/usps deliveries. Our internet is slow, like I said earlier 20 down and 2 up, but we seem to be able to do most things. The only issue is when people want to do multiple hi bandwidth things at the same time. That is when our white rage sets in, although a guy down the road is Native American and he has the same complaint.So........I guess the white rural rage being talked about has to do with internet speeds? Good to know...
No, we're just meandering. Its what INGO does.So........I guess the white rural rage being talked about has to do with internet speeds? Good to know...
