I bring this up in response to the recent thread
"Who doesn't OC and why?", posted by FNG, XDS45.

Are there any Hoosier members who conceal carry in
public because you have no LTCh?

I assume, without knowing any reliable numbers,
because of my readings of many local newspapers over years , that many Indiana resident gunowners in this
    category exist.

HEY, IF YOU ARE OUT THERE, PLEASE TELL
    US YOUR STORY!!

    Thanks

I am sure there are plenty of people who carry a concealed handgun without an LTCH. They probably break other laws as well. What's one more?

It's just a misdemeanor. Would any of us care if a law abiding person decided to carry without an LTCH? I certainly wouldn't hold it against them.

What if a woman has been beaten by a man, gotten the restraining order (that deadly piece of paper from the state) and decides she needs better protection and decides to get herself a gun and some training. Should she wait the few weeks to several months to start protecting herself while she waits on another piece of paper from the state?

I certainly wouldnt wait for the state to grant me permission to protect myself while I set around in fear.

I used to open carry quite a bit in Indiana without a LTCH.
I have also CC'd in other states without a LTCH.
Come on. No evidence, no victim, no crime right?:):

    Answer:
Those who conceal carry without a license are called criminals

In the distant past I have carried without a license. Does that make me less of a person or someone who didn't care what the state thought about the need to protect myself? Apparently in some of your eyes I am nothing more than a common criminal. I will give you one guess as to what I think of that.

+1 I need permission from no one to protect my family and myself.
