Implanted chip? Haven't we seen what these are used for somewhere before?

::CARTOONISH "GRAPHIC" VIOLENCE:: (but not really)

Ya know... Let's say ya work for a company that does a poor job of "terminating" problem employees... Maybe management has a pathological avoidance of conflict... Maybe too much nepotism...

Whatever the reason, those could come in handy.

We already, have the mark of the beast. It's called fingerprints, facial recognition, retinal identification, dna, and other biometric data that we just comply with and hand over.
Even casinos have facial recognition and it's spreading rapidly. Walking down city streets the govt in some.cities know who you are. Even the chips in your tires and your license plates are.tracked on the highways and roads.
The mark of the beast is just updated over time but we all are marked. Your papers and persons are no longer secure or Private. People just accept it.

I love the when people complain about this, all while carrying a globally connected tracking device with audio and video that, furthermore, they voluntarily input person details!

I'd give it about two weeks tops after those rolled out, and there would be a black market pumping illegals full of those chips.

Huh?

The RFID isn't just something you can duplicate. The point is it's unique and not copy-able due to encryption. It's an identifier just like a driver's license, only it's not readable without a tool and is resistant to forging.

If someone pumps out a bunch of new RFID chips, the identifiers won't match anything on the roll, so no voting allowed.

As to the eschatology, why does everyone think the "mark of the beast" is a literal, physical marking visible on the exterior (or with a scan tool)? I posit that it's a mark on the heart.

All this Mark of the Beast talk.

I'm convinced that whatever the mark is, whoever takes it will know that they are rejecting God when they do so. It won't be stealthy and it won't be a "gotcha".

IF It can be built it can be duplicated. IF there's money involved someone will find a way to beat it. At least that's what history has shown us so far.

While true, the catch is the difficulty in duplication.

That difficulty is little more than a challenge for certain mindsets.
It may not be as difficult as one would think.
Just as soon as some sob comes out with a better mouse trap then a different sob will come out with a better mouse.
The IPhone was hacked, our elections were compromised, Hillary's and the DNC email, and how many people have had their identities stolen?
People will be akin to their credit cards. They'll walk by the wrong person and the crook will have every bit of info on the person with the chip in them.
IF someone want's the data bad enough they'll go to no end to get it.
NOTHING IS SECURE. Anyone that thinks different is an ostrich.

Funny that you mention this (cell phones). A comment was made by one of the hosts after they ran the story that perhaps one day, our "phones" will be reduced to something similar to this chip. That could bring a whole new meaning to the phrase, "talk to the hand"!

It's almost as funny as when people freak out about a doctor asking if there are guns in the house, but the post details about what guns they own on a publicly available website.

While nothing is secure and no encryption is unbreakable, .... math. Yes, it is as difficult as Kut thinks. Especially since you can't attack the device physically without cutting a person - unlike a credit card you can steal.

And if you duplicate one, well, that gets you one vote...

OR go right to the source. Steal the info needed to re-create. Not saying it's easy but it's doable. Bettin' some geek is already on it.

Hell No. I hope I can retire before it becomes common place. I dont care for all of the tracking that is done now on your phone, internet surfing etc. It doesnt take long for someone to take a good idea and turn it into something for devious purposes. (not saying this is a good idea).

I don't believe it's a whole lot different than my work ID badge. It has an RFID strip in it that I have to use to enter any door at work.

Having said that why don't they just use ID badges.
