Fists are weapons of war too. They could take those knives and cut off people's hands and then knives and fists wouldn't be such a problem anymore. ;)

We have some firearms that are regulated as "weapons of war" in the law over here, but I never heard knives call that.

I had no idea I had so many weapons of war in my kitchen.

Boots, gloves, and coats are used in war too. Just think of the horrendous death machines you have in your closets as well!

    Best line in the story:

Strangely enough, Khan is responsible to decreasing the number of stop-and-searches, having previously declared the tactic racist and potentially Islamophobic. It's also not clear what local Londoners will now use to cut their food.

    :):

Maybe they can use that sharp wit they use to criticize us for our love of guns.

I can't imagine living in such a place.

Tweet from the mayor of London:

    Well he's right.
There's no need to carry a knife for protection when you have an armed security detail and armed police officers in front of your office and home.

He and his peers probably see no hypocrisy at all. The more equal animals on the farm will always be even more, more equal in a society that effectively bans legal firearms ownership.

Yep, it's the same with all those anti-gun/knife/self-defense politicians around the world.

More than 90% of British comes are unarmed when they answer emergency calls for the general public or patrol the streets.

But 100% of the cops are armed when it comes to protecting government buildings and politicans homes.

    Yes. It is hypocrisy.
But more amazing are those that don't have guards, see that those with guards are pushing defenselessness (I know, not a word), and yet tow the line.

This is apparently a REAL account, from a REAL UK police force.

They robbed an IKEA repairman, apparently.

I can't believe how absurd the UK is becoming.
