alan put on a great shoot yesterday and i want to thank everyone for helping missy and cristina while tonyand i were busy. great food and people made a very pleasant day in spite of the cold morning and gusty winds. also special thanks to all that helped me pick up the scorers table and stull when the wind blew it over, congrats to IGW for his win. looking forward to seeing all of you again at the next shoot.....daryll

The bigger news is Mrs. IGW taking 8th of 16! Just started shooting in the last 8months or so.... not to take away any credit from the shooter, but goes to show what a few Appleseeds under your belt can do!

im between 6-2 and 6-3 and he made me look like a midget. im guessing he was 6-8ish. and at 17 (i think) he placed 3rd and was a pleasure to shoot with.

he did good with 55gr bullets out of a ar in 20+mph wind gusts @ 700. there are alot of adults that couldn't do the same. even thought the wind was mostly from 6 oclock the slight shifts in dirrection would have to be picked up with that round

Thanks vette for putting on a great event, everyone was very cool and no one let competing get in the way of having a good time and helping out. The wind killed me in the rimfire, the wind flags were too small to see through my iron sights
It was great to meet all y'all and I had a great time, if you ever do it again sign me up!
Shameless plug for the Appleseed shoot at atterbury in two weeks if anyone wants to get away from those fancy bipods and scopes!

dont feel bad, my pistol cost me 70 seconds. pistol is defintally not my strong suit
