Have you ever actually seen his wife?

    haha

Yes...Granted this was Wiggles era and my daughter loved watching the show.....I was a stay at home dad and she was the only legal age female on any shows my daughter watched....

    I stand by my comment...:)

Once I hit 50 my whole definition of "hot" changed....I remember watching "Peaky Blinders" and ten years ago I would have thought this young lady was the hot one....

After 50 I thought this one was the hot one....

Oh yeah, I'm in Sydney... It's 1pm here. It's pretty stellar. I'm still trying to get used to people using the "c" word (I cringe every time I hear it). Everyone has been really friendly, even the people that like Trump (and they exist). They even had a pro-Trump rally here a few days ago.
Word to the wise, if you don't like your women tall, don't EVER come here. They're stunning, but damn they're tall.
And an American accent will take you far.

Hey Kut! Have you made it to Fortunes of War down at The Rocks, or the E.G. Wodehouse Camellia Gardens yet? :) Have you noticed the toilets flushing "backwards"?

Oh yeah, and since you're across the international dateline, how's tomorrow looking? ;) Worth getting up for?

Glad to hear you are enjoying yourself.

I like tall women, but I'm married. I'm curious which "c" word? And how do they use it? I can think of two that it could be. A pejorative referring to a woman's genitalia or to people. Or the critter that Daniel Boone's hat was made of. I'm guessing the first, but not positive.

Pretty sure he meant "colored". Generally, more often than not they use that word when talking about the aboriginals.

Ahh, that would make sense. Thanks. It's been a few years since I heard that here in the states. My grandma would use it or sometimes negro. But she was born in 1900.

True, I'm married but tall enough with the legs to go with it... Don't know what Kut considers tall, but I'm about 5'6 maybe a bit under (okay more than a bit nowadays) and my wife is 5'10"

I would probably stare mesmerized for an hour or so... Perhaps a bit longer.

    I'm thinking Crikey......Kut doesn't like that word.....

    Wot's wrong wit Crikey mate?

No, not at all. The word I'm thinking of rhymes with "punt." And I haven't heard use of colored here much, typically they say "black" to refer to the indigenous people. I've heard the "N" word quite a bit here to, but solely from Abos and Maoris, that makes me cringe too, but hey, it's not my country.

Ive seen one snake, out at Cronulla, which wanted no part of. In the same place, I saw a spider the size of small bird. I hate snakes... But the thing that really freaked me out, was a park that I walk through during the evenings, has a bunch of birds that fly overhead at night. They're about the size of geese.... A few days ago one landed near me.... And it wasn't a bird. It was a bat, a HUGE hairy bat. And yes, ran. I would've shot it if I had my glock.

And yes, I've been asked if I was a rapper, and an "American footballer." In Surrey Hills there aren't many people that look like me. There are lots of stereotypes (innocent) that Aussies have concerning black Americans, or Americans in general.

The stereotypes go both ways. We met an Australian couple at a campground years ago. We had a good laugh trading steriotypes. Much of the conversation went like "do you really do such and such?" "Nah, that's just a stereotype." I remeber at one point asking, do you guys really say "gooday mate", expecting that to be a stereotype too. Instead he said, no. We say that.

I can play that game. Aren't they all semi-ditzy blonde dudes with either safari clothing or beach wear?

And wait a minute. You're not a rapper?

Well, I haven't heard g'day mate once. I think most of our stereotypes are based on old school Australians. I was hanging out with a few guys, and said "why do you call girls 'Sheilas,'" they said only old people do that.
