Where has the highest rates of these attacks?
You mean highest rate in the world?
They are very common in South Asia (Pakistan, India etc).
In the UK they are the most common in London.
Where has the highest rates of these attacks?
This is the mindset - a butter knife is as deadly as a bayonet
So...when they say acid, it sounds like it's almost anything that would cause a burning sensation when it's thrown on you? I see one of the chemicals they're talking about is common bleach. I thought when they said 'acid' they meant like sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid like we used in science class or something. (I guess they might be getting it from car batteries). I guess I've never been I've never been in the market for acid, I didn't realize it was all that commonly available.
Maybe knife crime is so high because most British cops are only armed with non-lethal "weapons", pepper spray and telescopic baton ... and it takes 20 regular cops and one AFO (authorized firearms officer) showing up with a Taser to stop one suspect armed with a knife.

I will admit I was ignorant to those campaigns. Insanity.
As for the stupidity below, a screwdriver to the chest is deadly too, are they going to ban hand-tools next? Absolute lunacy.
Notice there's a picture of screwdriver on those "knife bins".
Next to a perfectly legal to carry folding knife, and apparently a broken bottle ... I had no idea people carried broken bottles in their pockets.
Anything is a weapon, you're a coward if you carry a weapon.
I want to know what the hell the Cookie Monster has to do with all this?
I want to know what the hell the Cookie Monster has to do with all this?
They also use the charatcer of "chef" from South Park ...
I don't know.To appeal to young kids?
They go to schools and make the kids swear that they won't carry knives, and teach them that only cowards carry ...
They probably teach them to never handle saws and screwdrivers as well.
Only cowards use dangerous tools.
Wouldn't want to teach kids to defend themselves would we.
