Remington 7400 in .270
... I like options.....
The state made an exception for the 10mm and .40 S&W-both legal now.
300 Remington Ultra Mag, with 180 Barnes TTSX's.
Man I hope I'm not under gunned.
.458SOCOM...
I'm not sure about the 10mm and the .40 s&w in both pistol and rifle? If we are discussing 10mm auto not the 10mm magnum. The 10mm magnum is some wildcat cartridge I guess? The case specs happened to pop up when I searched 10mm which meets the case length requirements at 1.255". That round I know nothing about nor even seen, I can't really find much info on it but it does come up when you search it.
Handgun case length "WITHOUT" the bullet has to be minimum 1.16" - no maximum limit...
Rifles for public and private 1.16" minimum case length to a maximum 1.8"...
For public rifle cartridges must be a minimum of 1.16" with a max of 3"...
going by a quick google search 10mm case length .992".
.40 s&w is obviously much shorter lol.
I'm reading this directly from Deer Regulations | Indiana Hunting Seasons & Regulations ? 2018 | eRegulations
I don't mean to wonder off the main thread topic, but reading that I don't think the 10mm and .40 are legal in either style firearm. please correct if I miss read it
