Sounds believable to me. Ive seen some scared cops that must have been new or not cut out to be cops either with temperament or just the wrong demeanor.
Cant say all cops are bad but all cops arent good either. At their jobs i mean.
Just like any profession. Some people slip through the cracks.

I was traveling East US-30 to FT Wayne.
I was all alone on the road, crack of dawn.
I seen the IN.SP car go the other way.
He traveled a long way but did turn around.
I watched him get bigger quickly in my mirror.
    I was ankle carrying.
I pulled over when he turned on the light.
He sat in his car for a long time also.
I got out my IN.Driver Lic.
I also pulled out my carry permit.
I handed them both to the officer.
He looked puzzled for a minute.
Then Asked if I was carrying.
    I said, YES.
    He asked where?
    I said my right ankle.
He said, do not move for it.
    I said, never.
He thanked me and handed my permit back.
He sat in his car for over 15 minutes.
He returned and handed me a "warning" and my IN lic.
Then we **** chatted another 20 minutes.

I always believed, Show respect and good things happen.

    You must be a Democrats.
You take something out of context.
    Then you criticize it.

    Please explain.

You handed him your operator license and LTCH and he looked puzzled. We can only assume that he fully expected your operator license and, in context, he was puzzled as to why to why handed him your LTCH.

    Me too.

Seems perfectly in context to me.

Just read his posting history. He loves to call folks out for imagined slights.
And really, calling you guys Dems. That is just slander.

    Democrat?!? That is slanderous! :):

Unlike my mom; she was a loyal Republican up until the day she passed away. Now she's a reliable D voter. :):

I wish I had time for a witty response.

I'm too busy making a list of all the laws I'm not breaking to hand to the officer next time I get pulled over.

How about a notarized statement with your comprehensive list, once you get it made? It might save time.

Of course, when I was advising law enforcement officers in a prior life, I suggested they hand back any craptastic documents announcing sovereign citizen status or anything similar, and not waste time trying to analyze them or discuss the individual's self-appointed sovereign status. I guess there is a chance your well documented list of things you're not doing wrong could be mistaken for a sovereign citizen/free man upon the land/"common law"/admiralty jurisdiction/etc/etc document. :):
