A video feed, if the resolution is high enough to be useful for auditing, of the process would essentially create a permanent record connecting to voters to votes if someone recorded it. No go.The audit should be set up to validate the people who vote, but not who they voted for. A different audit would be about ballot custody, and counts that have no connection to who voted.
Also I’ve said before, that counting the votes should be open for all to see. I would like to see cameras over every workstation with public feeds so that everyone can see what’s happening and feel confident in the vote. So if the feed goes down, that station would have to quit counting.
