I started following Adams during the covid crap. Sometimes he thinks he’s a lot smarter than he actually is. Many times, it seems like he just likes to troll people. I admit to not having following this recent stuff very closely but when I saw it hit the fan yesterday, my first thought was he is trolling again.

    .
I've read Dilbert off and on for a lot of years, it's a funny comic strip. One of the things I remember from way back was Scott Adams saying that he gets most of his ideas for themes in Dilbert from people who send in actual stories about thier work.

You are forgetting the addendum. And with sufficient power to impose their will on the other race
A clever addendum that allows a group to be equally racist, yet be able to claim they are not racist when they have equally hateful feelings against another group based on race.

Reminds me of several of the lines from that alcoholism PSA on the radio.

I don't drink in the mornings, so I'm not an alcoholic.
I have a good job, so I'm not an alcoholic.

I have to say that I am very much ashamed that I was coerced with trickery into giving that clown Jesse Dollemore a view on his channel.

    You should be ashamed OP.

I have listened to him, off and on, for about the same time period and that was also my first reaction. There will be a point where he explains what he was really saying, the trap that he set and the others fell in, and declare himself a genius again. I find him interesting and tiresome at the same time.

Does anyone else think that maybe Adams was being a bit sarcastic as a reaction to the poll when he was saying that white people should get away from black people because they are a hate group? Just a thought.

I mean there are many black people that don't want to have anything to do with white people because they think all white people are a racist hate group as a whole.

May I suggest a story that pretty well summarizes racism since the highways and weather are now racist. It is a short read … “The boy who cried wolf”
    In before the sticky.

I don't see the correlation of the boy who cried wolf to race. It's a fable about say something that isn't true often enough, no one will believe you when it is true.
Since it was posted twice, what is the correlation?

Well, he said what he said. Not sure how it's a "smear" when he said it on his own show.

You seem to think that the full clip somehow makes this better? In what context is calling black people a "hate group" and telling white people to "get the **** away from black people" not just a little, teeny, maybe tiny bit racist?
Explain to me why you want to be around and associate with anyone that continuously calls you a racist based on your race and not your character? Caucasians have, as a group been deemed racists for decades. Why do I want to make any effort to associate with those as a group that have screamed for decades that I am racist? I guess to complete the circle we must now call anyone that chooses to walk away and not participate as a racist…

I admit to reading Dlibert on a daily basis.
Years ago we used to start the workday with what we called the Dilbert moment. Basically the keeper of the Dilbert calendar rips the current day from the calendar and passes it around. Then we complain about how that episode nailed so brilliantly our own workplace politic. That was back when Dilbert was good.

Who has called you a racist to your face? Is this really a pressing problem in your life?

I'm betting that no one has actually called you a racist in real life.
