      Looking for a rifle range.

      The Winamac outdoor range is free and has 25, 50, 100 and 200 yard ranges. I've been there 9 or 10 times and never had a bad experience.

      My wife and I stopped in the Lafayette store for the first time last weekend. Didn't see any firearms, but the firearm section looked like it was being rearranged, so hopefully soon!

      Researching pop up campers...info/advice would be appreciated

      We have a Fleetwood (Coleman) that we bought new about 6 years ago. It's the Utah CP model. CP stands for cassette pottie. We wouldn't have a popup without one. We use the campsite facilities during the day and the CP at night. We also have a refrigerator (120V, 12v or propane)...

      And don't forget about the waiting period. This also applies to private sales in IL. I bought my first firearm from a neighbor when I lived in a Chicago suburb a few years ago and I had to wait three days. Another example of a gun law that only affects the law-abiding folks.

      Thanks! I had considered the M16 selector mod that gives it SAFE-SEMI-SEMI, but decided it wasn't worth the potential hassle. Engravings are one thing, but if the selector actually moved to the AUTO position, it'd be hard to explain.

      My one and only AR. I decided to build a retro M16A1 about a year ago. Gunthings kit, Nodak lower engraved to look similar to the real thing. Keeping my eyes open for a "reasonably" priced LE6920 to keep it company.

      Any one else a Late Bloomer

      Three years ago for me. Moved here from the Chicago area and got my LTCH as soon as I could. My C&R was next. Been collecting military rifles since then. Winamac is now higher on my list than Disney. :):
