I have a Savage model 99C that will cycle with the magazine out but does not cycle when the magazine is inserted. I have checked the feed lips and they do not seem bent or out of whack. I have tried cycling it with action dummies and it does not help either. With the magazine inserted the action...
Why are the Leupold scopes so far down on the list?
I do mostly target shooting but some coyote hunting (not usually with the 300 WM though) I would like to be able to swap between my Savage and my Ruger M77 target (yes I know I will not have the same zero on both...)
I plan to dial for my range...
I planned on a set of ARMS quick detach rings if I go with the 30mm tubes but I am not sure if I go with the Zeiss and 1" tube.
Has anyone tried the badger 30mm to 1" adapter spacers?
I am currently looking for a new scope for my Savage 110BA (300 WM). I am looking at several scopes right now and I am looking for any feedback as to what to look out for or be aware of with the scopes I have picked out as possible front runners. Here is my short list.

Ok, I am reloading for the 300 Win Mag and the reloading manual I am using (Hodgdon online) says to use a magnum primer, but the powder I am using states to use a standard large rifle primer (I am using Hodgdon H1000). any experience or suggestions would be great.
That is a good point the 10 FCP HS Precision is quite a bit less expensive. I have kicked it around (and still am). Just one of those crazy gun things...
OK, I am looking to purchase a new rifle and I am hung up on my caliber choice. I am looking at the Savage 10 BA in .308 or the 110 BA in 300 win. mag. (no I am not interested in paying $6+ per shot for the 338 Lapua, though it screams bad ass). I live in southern Indiana and only have access to...
Thanks, it's a weaver scope in weaver rings. All mounting hardware was tight and as far as I can tell nothing was rubbing. The scope worked fine on my M700 in .308 so I would doubt it was the scope. I will check these options out and get back.
Thanks
OK, I have purchased an M1A MN and have also purchased a Springfield Armory gen 3 scope base, I have attached a weaver scope and i am getting great groups out of it. However, my groups seem to be wandering, they may start out dead on and then move to 2" low and to the right, then shoot to 2-3"...
