      Police Trade in Glocks in Indy?

      Glock 19 gen 3 finish

      Has anyone had problems with the new gen 4 slides rusting or scratching up real bad? I suppose someone could have somebody re-coat a gen 4 slide.

      So your saying that the new Gen 3 is not the thick finish like it was 10-15 years ago? About what year did they change this? Has Glock said why they changed the finish?

      Glock still makes a new 19 in a gen 3. Anyone know if the gen 3 still has the tenifer finish and not like the gen 4 parkerized finish? Is there any internal difference in a old gen 3 vs a new gen 3? Thanks

      Is the 19 the perfect Glock??

      Like posted above, it is all in what you feel comfortable with and spend the most time training with. Seems like the 19 fits most hands and the 9mm is the most common round. It is the Toyota Camry of handguns. Not the best or worse gun in the world but is the standard. Makes sense.

      Worst gun you ever bought!

      One of the first generation Taurus TCP 380s. Nice trigger but would stove pipe and jam all the time. Terrible gun

      AR Pistol vs AR "firearm"

      I don't understand the pistol AR as a serious gun. You can't carry it around and conceal it. The ballistics are terrible out of a short barrel. The rifle round needs the long barrel to be effective. Yeah they look cool but if you want a knockdown handgun get a 45, .50 or 10mm. Too many rules to...

      Someone explain the love for Glocks

      Glocks are simple guns but function-able and do their job. The parts are easy to replace if needed. Kind of like a Honda Accord. Not the best looking car out there but does its job. Sure everyone wants to have a custom high speed xyz gun. They are cool and nice to own. Kind of like a ferrari...

      Police trade in Sigs $399

      The unfortunate part is that that department probably only got around $200 for the trade in. If your looking for a Sig they would be ok. Better than paying $$$ for new.

      Both good guns. Depends on your personal preference. I chose 43
