Who's taken a Force on Force class? Thoughts?

I learned more in a three-day FOF class than I'd learned in 10+ years of square range shooting. Life changing, indeed. J

Well, I'm feeling old so I'll go with the latter. Jeremy

IDPA Match at NPCCC July 18th

Yes, I do sometimes shoot a Sig (not badly after last week's results). Jeremy

IDPA Match at NPCCC July 18th

We do our best. I've had to scale back what I'm doing quite a bit due to a new job and recent addition to the family...so our Sunday activity has been put on hold until Fall. Wednesday night's are alive and kicking, though. Jeremy

You mentioned Michigan City's match...Just a hunch. Guess I missed the mark on that one. Jeremy

      Mike's Country Store, LaPorte

For those of us in the LaPorte County area who are looking for a place to buy firearms and other assorted items, Mike's Country Store at 9977 N St Rd 39, LaPorte now has their FFL. The gun department is toward the right rear area of the store. The department manager's name is Jerry. They're...

Outdoor range between Chesterton & Valpo?

You may be thinking of Michigan City Rifle Club. If so, what you've heard about the dues is false. Also, the "qualify" thing is to make certain that potential members have SOME idea of how to handle a firearm. It's more participation than shooting for a score. Michigan City Rifle Club I'm a...

      22 conversions for AR-15's

I'd say yes. I've heard that shooting a few rounds of .223 will do that for you, but I've never tried it for myself. I use a dedicated upper, so I'll have to test it one of these days. jvg

No, but they can foul your gastube. jvg

Michigan City Rifle Club - Pistol Divisions

Here's a little bump for this thread. MCRC's first PPC match was GREAT last night. We had 13 shooters and everyone had a blast (pun fully intended). Our IDPA program is also lively with 19 participants this past Wednesday Night! The future at MCRC looks great with this kind of interest in...

      22 conversions for AR-15's

My Ceiner kit is very good. I did have a magazine that gave me issues, and a call to JAC was less than friendly, so I discarded that mag and replaced it with Black Dogs from Brownells. It's flawless as long as it's kept reasonably clean. jvg

Intro to IDPA Class at Michigan City Rifle Club

Just a bump. There are still a couple spots open in this class if anyone's interested. Jeremy

      Don's Guns

I've been to Don's twice. The first because I didn't know. The second to prove it to someone who'd only heard. Never again. JVG
