You have $1500, pick M14 or M1 Garand? Why?

Id rather have a M14 because thats what my dad was issued when he was in the service, that being said i'm probably going to get a service or field grade M1 from cmp hopefully by late spring or early summer.:patriot:

      2011-2012 Colts Season Thread:

Colts make a living at progressing rookie dbs they do it better than anybody else. With so many stars on offense taking up the pie, it leaves little resources to gain on the defenseive side of the ball. I think the tampa 2 is fine, the system is proven and a change of scheme usually leads to a...

      2011-2012 Colts Season Thread:

I wonder/hope if Collie will have better duration than last season, I expect him to come out with vengence. Clark and Tamme I expect to see some crazy 2 TE formations. O line hopefully will be better and give payton more than .5 sec too make adjustments and allow him to make decent throws. Im...

Beer is good and people are carzy. Good thing the ladies kids got caught before one of them tripped and fell on the street with a loaded ak reciever in their pants, they could of shot their foot off or somebody eles's head!

Sons Of Guns Season 2 starts tonight

I think its probably the coolest gun show I've seen on TV, but some of the episodes are obviously scripted, but man there is some serious eye candy in that shop. Just reminds me of all cool stuff I'd be doing if I were rich.

To answer why i want to finally get a gun and what about smith and wesson?

I would start with considering what caliber you want, the smaller the round = more accuracy, but less stopping power - bigger round = more stopping power but less accuracy. The differences between a 9mm and .40 can be a night and day difference even within the same brand-model i.e. the glock 23...

      a good guard dog?

I'd have to recommend rottweiler or pitt bull or if possible a hybred of the two (rotten pitt) as seen in the pic for my username. You cant believe everything you hear about these dogs - like with people its all in the upbringing - the working class bred is a very noble and intelligent bred...
