Best Gun Shop To Find Surplus Rifles

I second Falls City Firearms, Rick is the man when it comes to military surplus guns.

The range in Henryville is okay, though it can get a bit rowdy on Saturdays (no Sunday shooting.) If you are up for a bit further of a drive, then the range at the Crosely Fish & Wildlife Area in North Vernon is a much nicer range. They have covered shooting stations with dedicated pistol...

      Current LTCH Wait

Applied online L1 on 1/2/2013, paid with credit card. Had fingerprints done in Clark County on 1/15/2013 and paid local PD in New Albany on 1/15/2013. Received my pretty pink letter on 4/6/2013, about 11 1/2 weeks. I also have a clean record.

      Cleaning Kits

+1 on the Otis kits. I use one for pretty much every firearm I own.

      Mosin quest....

If you are ever down in the southern part of the state, I highly recommend stopping in and seeing Rick at Falls City Firearms in Clarksville. His is not your typical gun shop, but it is a milsurp collectors dream shop. He is very knowledgeable and usually has several of the Mosin Nagant...

      Good socks?

I really like the RedHead Lifetime Guarantee socks from Bass Pro. They are around 80% wool and 20% nylon. They wick moisture well and tend to stay up on the calves well, I hate sagging socks. I wear them every day and the best thing is that Bass Pro will replace them for free if you wear...

Whose Line is it Anyway returning!

Love the show as well. Especially the original BBC version with Clive Anderson as the host. Some of the same comedians showed up on the U.S. version with Drew Carey. Looking forward to its return, I was always amazed on how quick they could think up and sing a funny song off the cuff.

      10-22 sights?

I second the recommendation on the Tech Sights. I have them on my 10/22 and my SKS. I learned marksmanship in the Army with the M16, so these sights just feel natural for me.

$25 NRA membership+FREE $25 BASS PRO gift card

Does anyone know if the Bass Pro gift card deal was only one per household? I signed both my wife and myself up on 12/24/2012. Last week I received my Bass Pro gift card, but as of yet my wife has not received hers. We have received the magazines that each of us selected, but neither of us...

C&R Renewal Info - Just thought I would share

I applied for mine in early December and it arrived a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately I cannot find hardly anything in stock at the usual dealers. I would like to add some Mosin Nagants to the collection, but all anyone seems to have are the pricier sniper models.
