      Dick's

Never going to shop there again. If my kid needs a glove or bat, we will drive much farther to purchase somewhere else just so we don't have to go in there. I hope they go out of business, really I do. I hate for anyone to loose their job but that place does not stand up for us and I will not...

      ebay insanity

I have 8 P mags just stuffed in a drawer, I think if I hang onto them I can trade them for something really cool in a week or 2. This is stupid, I can't believe people are really paying that much right now. You can still find normal price mags all over the net and some decent shops probably...

INGO members response to price craziness

I was in Dunhams looking for a bow case and there were a couple guys in there trying to buy anything tacital so they could resell on different forums. I had seen that when the last election happened on ammo. I am just gonna pray it does not get worse.

Who has not done any panic buying!

not going to participate in the craziness. Bought some ammo on sale but always try to pick that up when on sale.

Mossberg 500 Variants vs. Remington 870 variants

835's were great for the day but you got to love the mossy 535 ats. I like the 12ga and it will throw the 3 1/2's but is light and easy to swing for other uses. It is a relly good turkey gun but with the fiber optic sights and a I/C choke it is a real decent slug thrower also. I would of liked...

Mossberg 500 Variants vs. Remington 870 variants

UM, Why is owning a Saiga gay? I want one and don't lean that way. If we are going to start throwing in other models to compare I would bring in my Ithaca Model 37. Great gun I have in 12 and 20. Really like bottom eject. My wife who is lefty uses the 20. Great home defense with original deer...

Mossberg 500 Variants vs. Remington 870 variants

Back on topic? I like the mossberg's a little better. I have had both and have beaten both in field and the mossy seems more forgiving. I have had a pistol grip and changed it to a pistol / stock gun. Way friendlier to handle. Magnum loads killed my wrists and follow up shots sufered. I recently...

Just over the border in Niles, Walmart on m51 north of south bend had the bulk federal .22 for 13.47 they had nothing else and I mean NOTHING. THe guy said they have not seen ammo for pistols in a month. FYI It might of been 14.37

      What should I get?

Ithaca Model 37 12ga. featherlite or Mossberg 535 ats and put a tactical turkey stock on it. I have both and lean more to the 535 for the combo of hunting and home defense.

      Purchase rules

Thank you all for help. I will talk to Steve, I am just north of his store. I think it is great that you guys will take time to help inform and educate those of us that are just getting into it or back into it like me. Up to last year I had not purchased or sold a gun for years (thought I owned...

      Purchase rules

I am not an FFL holder but I stayed at holiday inn express last night so I think that counts. Really guys, Thanks for the help. I just figured being so close to indiana that it makes sense to have the option to purchase there also. If I watch for fair deals $25 extra for FFl is not going to kill...

      Purchase rules

So if I wanted to buy a rifle from you I could just pay a local to you FFL dealer to do the transfer??? You would have to take it there and I would go there and he would do paper work? I have seen on the boards I watch that it usually costs $25 to do a transfer. I take it this is what they are...

      Purchase rules

Ok, I purchased guns from Dick's in indiana. I take it they are an FFL dealer and that is why I could make the pruchase. So if I want to buy a gun from a Indiana resident I have to have it go to an FFL and he would have to send it to a FFL in michigan or can I just buy get it from him? Thanks
