      california at it again

California is also one of the most popular competitive shooting states in the US. I was shocked when I found out it was second to Arizona. 120+ shooters attending IDPA events a couple times a month? WOW! Of course Northern CA is way better for shooters than SoCal :)

1911 magazines what are good and what a good price

If it's a 45 ACP use the Chip McCormick mags, they're great and not very expensive.

Know anything bout XTREME BULLETS ?

They're a plated bullet, better than Berry's or most of the other plated varieties. I've shot thousands of Xtreme bullets in 40S&W and except for the occasional tumble when they hit velocities over 1000 have proven to be very accurate. I know several remanufactured ammunition makers that use...

      Help picking a AR

There are tons of great deals on AR-15 rifles out there and it all depends on what you want. Bushmaster, Armalite, DPMS, RRA, YHM, DD, and many others have inexpensive models in the $600 price range. I think I've had rifles from most all of the companies out there except the ones I've heard...
