      Elmore's in Greenwood new guns arrived

      I have been a regular customer for several years. I get a discount on the prices because of that. Russ, Jason, George and the rest of the crew are very helpful. I have purchased at least 50 guns from them in the last 10 years.

      What's wrong with this picture

      Maybe some here will remember the HK advertisment showing rounds loaded backward in a pistol mag. Definately an ad man with no firearms experience. Humorous to us but I would guess HK was not laughing.

      I see nothing wrong with carrying in a bar or lounge but I believe that it is the management's right to prohibit it in their establishment.

      Why do I never see these 1/2' moa shooters at the range. Or head shooters every time @ 25 yds. I would like to see what they could do when it counts! Trained snipers not included.

      If you can keep your cool and hit your target when the target is shooting back then you are a good enough shot.

      I shot Elmer Keith at 600yds. with a Model 29 S&W.

      Colt AR-15A3 w/ Hornady 55 gr. Tap leaning against wall next to bed. Ed Brown EE/SS w/ HST 230 + next to pillow with Randall Model 2-7in. Two Suefire lights on nightstand digital clock on nightstand. Cell phone on nightstand. HK 45 w/ 230 +p Cor-bon on the other side of pillow for good measure...

      Machete recommendations anyone?

      My Randall Model 14 makes a fairly good machete. No need to have a extra piece of gear to carry.

      Larry Vickers on Glocks

      Glock frames flex when fired. Some believe that mounting a light on the rail interferes with this. I've never mounted a light on any of my Glocks so I do not know. I do know that I have put approximatley 2000 rounds through my 21 SF with two failures to feed (230 +p Cor-bon).
