      Legal Question: Duty to Act

Although I dislike repeating myself... here is a quote from a post I made earlier... there is NO duty in Indiana to report a crime OR to notify the authorities that someone needs police / medical help... hence there is no law to quote. There is a requirement for doctors, nurses, hospitals...

      Legal Question: Duty to Act

Although this means that an LEO can require your help... even to the point of the LEO arming you and requiring your assitance with an arrest... the modern take on this law is to prevent one from not notifying 911 that an LEO needs assistance or is injured... this is quite different than the ...

ATF tracking forum sales through Pics with serial numbers

This does NOT sound like the BATFE is monitoring the forums per-se... it does sound like the BATFE was investigating a possible unlicensed dealer and monitoring HIS activity...

Anyone still think "Death panels" goes to far.

There is no such thing as "death panels"... up to now if you wanted to talk to your doc about living wills etc etc (which btw I sugest EVERYONE do, no matter your health or age) the doc may or may not be reimbursed for it... that is what this is about. Giovanni F. Lentini RRT NPS

Shipping a gun to IN buyer?

It is quite legal to ship to a buyer in the same state... HOWEVER you will NOT find a common carrier willing to do it... they all have RULES that state one party must be an FFL... it is also against Federal Law for you not to tell the common carrier that there is a firearm in the package...

Any Legal P22 pop bottle adapters?

CORRECTED REPLACEABLE wipes... (each one BY ITSELF) are NOT considered to be a suppressor... every other piece of a suppressor is LEGALLY a suppressor under Federal Law... this this also apples to the endcap or adapter to fit a barrel... you cannot buy these AFTERMARKET without complying with...

Any Legal P22 pop bottle adapters?

Suppressor parts have been regulated just like a complete suppressor since the passage of the Gun Owners Protection Act in 1986. It would not be very smart IMHO to possess an "adapter" that fits a barrel and a soda bottle.

      The 180 degree range rule

I have done the snake drill with Ken Hackathorn, it did not bother me at all. It is IMHO much like going through the confidence course in the Army, the danger is mostly psychological. Here is an article that explains the snake drill... for those not in the know... CALIBERS -- Ken Hackathorn...

Oh yes the military has a plan...

Please keep in mind that the 1918 pandemic (ie the "Spanish Flu", only called that because the first reported cases came from Spain) WAS THE H1N1 VIRUS THAT MUTATED OVER SEVERAL MONTHS. About 80 - 100 million people died workwide, about 500,000 to 675,000 died in the US. There were so many dead...

Rescued Captain Calls For Armed Ship Crews

I am not totally convinced on this for several reasons... - Most of the Pirates will still outgun the ships. The pirates have full auto weapons and RPG's and the like. - it will be impractical to train the crews - insurance costs will be an issue. I am more in favor of using the Q Ship...
