mounting a suppressor on a Ruger 10/22 tactical

So, everything seems fine. Screws on and off just fine no cross-threading. Works very well! No adapter needed, take off the flash suppressor, screw on the suppressor. Easy peasy.

mounting a suppressor on a Ruger 10/22 tactical

Long time no post :D I bought a Ruger 10/22 Tactical so that I could easily mount my Tactical Solutions Cascade suppressor to it. Grabbed the flash suppressor that came with it, unscrewed it. Screwed the suppressor right on, hand tight, easy peasy. Zeroed it in the other day with some...

      Chainsaw recommendations

Get a Stihl, particularly if you want it to start when you need it to or cut a lot of wood. Had some loggers out to take down some trees on some timberland I own. They got their husqvarna stuck in a large tree. A pretty big one. Couldn't get it out. My neighbor came by with his tiny little...

Indiana Members Credit Union got themselves a metal detector

I am disappointed in this move, yes. However, there is wisdom in not being the easiest target on the block. I wish they would apply some more thinking time to come up with a way to allow customers protect themselves and make themselves a harder target.

How to deal with neighbor who believes trees are adequate backstop

Has the DNR or LEO explained WHY they cannot do anything about it? What's the other side to the story?

Will a Government Shut Down Slow NFA Wait Times?

I would imagine shutting down the NCIS would be akin to suspending the 2A.

SEI’s lawsuit against me – Updates and Court Filings Here

They will both learn hard lessons about words from this. Doesn't matter who "wins" in court - they both already lost.

SEI’s lawsuit against me – Updates and Court Filings Here

Make statements like that and you're going to draw some pretty quick attention. I've seen a company threaten to sue a business associate for making some angry comments detrimental to their reputation on facebook. Unless he can back up those "heat treatment receiver" allegations, I can see the...

      bank concealed carry

I'd find a new bank, unless they were willing to provide an armed guard for you to and from where you need to go should you ever need to withdraw or deposit larger amounts of money.

Feed the Stereotype "Joe Dirt" OC'er

It's a two way street. Just because someone dresses a certain way, we shouldn't prejudge them. That includes those that are often referred to as "Ghetto Goblins" around here. How about we treat others as we'd like to be treated and assume the best in them - judge their behavior? If gun...

So does the waiting ever get easier?

The trick is to buy something often enough that after 6 months, you're always getting something in. :rockwoot:

      Glock 23 questions

I have and carry a G23 as my primary sidearm. I can't tell you how to find out what generation you have unless you have the manual, or who does 22LR conversions, but as for the wife training thing - I took my wife shooting for the first time a week ago - and I elected to start with a smaller...

Columbus passes ban on carrying bb guns

I understand the risk that a young person runs if they seem to be touting a firearm inappropriately. I also understand the risk a police officer takes on if they respond rashly to a situation. Shouldn't education and training be the solution instead of removing freedom?

Pop Guns Stupid High USED Gun Prices

Pops seems to cater to the LEO community now, so I imagine as long as the LEO community supports them for their needs they'll continue to stay in business. I haven't been in there in years since the owner gave a less than favorable interview on TV relating for non-LEO firearm owners though. I...
