      Official "CZ" photo thread!!!

      Going to try out Tim's Shooting Academy this week after a bit of a break from shooting. What better piece than a CZ to get back on the horse.

      Any Ah ha! moments?

      I picked up the "Just Right Carbine" and was really impressed with how well it was built, a lot of metal and no slop. For a pistol caliber carbine it is now on top of the list.

      I walked up today and signed up for a year membership for $25 with my baby boy. Great show well worth it, a ton of firearms to hold and handle. I even got to meet Angus from CZ!

      Just incase you were interested, midway has the Archangel target stock for $79.61 shipped. As of this post there are still 17 at that price, that is a great deal and a great target stock for bull bbls.

      A big thanks to Allen M. from diamond collision for his excellent work on my CZ. I had him reshape the beavertail and refinish the frame with Titanium Cerakote. The pictures do not do it justice. Repainted the sights No more beavertail bite.

      That feels like it would solve the beavertail problem. It really gets your grip up there but my thumb doesn't feel quite right sitting that high. The stock grip swell pushes it down a little too much. I'll split the difference at this point and see if that works. I picked up a couple cheap sets...

      I will thanks! After a little research it looks like it is a "transitional pre-b model". It has the rounded hammer and squared trigger guard with no firing pin block. It digs in right there

      So I finally get a CZ75B (85 actually) and it is everything I expected, feels great, accurate, awesome SA trigger. However after about 50 rounds the beavertail starts digging into my hand. I tried to hold it a bit lower but that didn't help. So I'm looking for some suggestions on how to fix...

      Why did you pick a sub-compact vs compact (or pocket) for CCW?

      Compacts are Jacks of all trades master of none. I was this close (fingers close together) to getting the SR9C but I decided on an LC9 because it is small, very slim and easy to cary. If I went with the 9C I feel it would be a compromise.
