      What caliber?

I am new to guns and i am looking to buy a rifle to take out mostly coyotes and prairie dogs. Should I be getting a .22 lr or something else?

I got pulled over last night...

I think thats straight B/S what the cop did. First, he had no reason asking you where you were going and came from. Also, just because you have weapons in your car doesn't mean anything as long as you have the proper permits to carry/own them. File a complaint with the local police office at the...

      interstate transportation

To be on the safe side without looking up each states rules, keep it in a box unloaded while traveling interstate. IL is one of the most restricted states and u can drive through it in this manner.

Looks like FL CCW is better than UT CCW

Personally for me the UT is better. I spend a lot of time in the north west and most of those states are covered.

      fireman asked to see license

Good job. Only the police can do that. I'm so sick of people going all crazy when they see a gun.

Community North campus = no weapons

Now I don't understand how these governments get away with restricting gun rights on Public property. Where is it in the constitution that the 2nd amendment right can be restricted on public property?

Intruder calls 911, afraid homeowners have a gun!

Wow that guy is a total idiot!!

IDK but the only one I ever shot was the Dirty Harry one and was pretty neat

      Accessory rails

Do you guys (and girls for you ladies out there) generally care about assessory rails on the handguns? I think it would be cool to mount a light or laser but prob tough to carry it. Just wondering if it's a deal breaker or not.

      Surrendering your weapon

To my knowledge they cannot take your weapon unless they have a reasonable reason to, like your a felon or wanted or something. If they press then you prob should but file a complaint, as they most likely overstepped their legal boundaries.

      Revolver exploded in my face

Ouch, good thing you weren't hurt. Kinda cool pics I must admit though.

      Bad ammo?

I'm new to guns/ammo and all that. I am wondering if there is ammo I should stay away from or if it's all pretty much the same. Specifically I'm shooting a 1911 .45. Thanks!

      .45ACP?

RIA definately a reasonable price 45, but kinda heavy and harder to carry. Personnaly I have a Taurus 24/7 - cheap and decent quality.

      interstate transportation

Varries from state from what I've seen. Would like to get the Utah permit myself as that covers a lot of states.

      good gun shops around greenwood

Like some people said so far, stay away from Don's. The prices were pretty high from what I saw and the clientele in there was ghetto.

      Interstate handgun sales

Yes meant FFL not FFA my bad. Thanks for the responses.

      Interstate handgun sales

Can I not sell a handgun to someone in another state? I read that the sale of a handgun interstate is under Federal law and Federal law bans it unless it goes through a FFA. However, I talked to a few other guys and they said because its a private sell its all good. Anyone know for sure...

Thank God for the Great State of Indiana

I just moved from IL and I can't believe that they still have the anti-gun laws there. You can't conceal at all and some counties ban open care. IN has much better guns laws.
