      Anyone use a Foodsaver machine?

      We use ours for deer, jerky, beef anything that goes in the freezer. No problem with freezer burn. You can control the waste by cutting the size you need.

      Sciatic nerve pain with IWB?

      I have the same problem. I appreciate the advise everyone is giving. My back hurts for a week if I carry IWB at 4 o'clock for more than a couple of hours.

      Looking at an XD, Advice?

      I have an XD 9mm with a 4.5"barrel and love it. I gave 450 new with 2 mags, holster, mag holder and quick loader. Mine also has the ported barrel (V 10 model). It shoots great and is very accurate. My wife even likes shooting it.

      It's easier to blame the guns than to blame the parents for not realizing their children have problems and need to be monitored.

      Don't these places realize that guns are not the problem. I agree, they are bowing to public pressure. I loved it tonight when ABC news described an assault gun as "a gun that fires when you pull the trigger". I thought they all did that!

      Springfield XDs Problems

      I haven't had ant problems with mine. It shoots great and is very accurate. My son has a Glock and he even likes it.

      The Ruger LCP is a great pocket gun. If you want to go with 9mm get a Shield.

      Ruger or Walther

      I have a Wather and it works just fine. If anyone is have feeding problems, just polish the feed ramp. That should take care of it.

      Gun safe? Gun cabinet?

      You have to do what you can. If you can get a safe, Tractor Supply usually has a good deal on them this time of year. If you can't afford a safe, get a cabinet and try to secure it somehow.

      Looking for a 9mm Single stack

      The S & W M&P Shield would be the way to go if you can find one. I know someone that has a Ruger LC9 and loves it. You can order it with a laser also.

      Whats a good .22 pistol to get, no real knowledgable on .22s

      We have a Walther P22 and love it. I shoots great and looks good too. My daughter-in-law has a Ruger SR22.
