      20G vs 12G

      I would suggest that if you're going to be shooting trap with it get a 12 gauge. For skeet I prefer a 20 gauge. The ammo is expensive but you might consider a 28 gauge they break skeet clays as good as anything but again for trap I'd get a 12 gauge.

      .22 LR at . . . .

      Most of the time you can find CCI standard velocity 22 long rifle at Gander Mountain 100 rounds for about $8. They still limit you to 5 packages. I am not trying to change the subject of the post but has anyone seen any crimped 22 shotshells anywhere in Central Indiana?

      Deer hunting rounds....

      When you look at a 44 magnum compared to a 12 gauge slug you would not think they would be that effective. After taking a deer with a 44 Magnum I am impressed. I use a lever action Rossi with an octagon 26 inch barrel with open sights and love it

      cast iron cookware

      If you put it in your electric oven on self clean it will burn anyhing that is not supposed to be on there off. Even rust. Then season it again. It will be good as new.

      Remington 870 Help

      Use plastic remover in the chamber and clean really well get any excess lube out. Chamber should be dry of lube. You may have damaged your extractor from it getting stuck and forcing it open.

      I have personally taken a deer st 106 yards with a 44 magnum lever action rifle.
