      Updating S&W M&P10 .308

      Didn't have issues with ftf, but had issues with primers popping upon inspection of spent brass. Turns out upon the bolt advancing next round forward brass was hitting a burred surface. Disappointed, but after I found a qualified gunsmith who was willing to invest the time, it was remedied...

      So what are you guys looking for at the upcoming Indy 1500?

      If I go...looking for a 11-87 premier 12 game w/ enhanced engraving and maybe a good 938 leather/kydex holster... like a crossbreed. Maybe ammo, but doubt ammo pans out, never does.

      no line, walked right in at 10:30 or so, but didn't buy jack. "Kings of Brass" ammo table had 500 rds of Winchester 9mm jhp for $329, I handed it to him and he rang it up, total came to $393.... "whoa, bub, price tag here says $329" He picked up the bright pink tag and ripped it right in...

      So what are you looking for at the 1500?

      A-bolt II medallion mags, glock grip plugs, ammo cans, range/ rifle bags, sxs coach gun, magpul prs stock, leupold gloss 6.5-20 scope.......alas it wasn't meant to be, I paid $5 k park and wasn't about to wait 3 hrs in line. Oh well, I got some of it at bradis and mtsville guns on way back...

      I bought an 870 express, smooth bore, shortest barrel they offered...new for under $300 iirc. I shoot clays with it too, it won't vaporize them, but its still fun. I'd either get that or a mid length barrel with chokes.

      Good range report, thanks! Yeah, mine is a Aug 2012 so I fully expect to have to send it back, but hopefully I'll be proven wrong :). For a new gun, the black nitron coating seems awful thin, its already worn/ incomplete in a few spots...not too happy about that.
