      Benjiman Marauder problem

Welcome to the club femurphy. If you want the best accuracy from your Marauder try JSB diablo pellets from Pyramyd Air. If it's a .22 caliber, the Exact Jumbo or the Jumbo Heavies are the best.

      Benjiman Marauder problem

femurphy77, I shoot PCP's often and can fill it for you if you live close to Bloomington. Stripping and replacing o-rings is an easy task on the Marauders.

      Identify this fecal matter

Use some rubber gloves, pick up one of the tubes and tear it apart to see what it contains. Insect parts, seeds, bone... Maybe that would help to identify the culprit.

Firing Range Near Spring Mill State Park?

That sounds like the old Cave River Valley......I think the State ran out of funds for its restoration. Last time I was down there the Turkey tick larvae ate me alive.

      What can DNR do?

Same here. I have had more run-ins with CO's than State Police and they have all been both Professional And Courteous. In fact, a couple years ago while camping and fishing on the Ohio River; my oldest son forgot to bring his fishing license, and the CO checking us out gave him a week to send...

I think Case Gages come in handy and are inexpensive. Dillon makes a good product.

FBI seizes trove of cultural artifacts at 91-year-old Indiana man's home

If conservation is his goal, hopefully the FBI are just over seeing the project and don't have a hands on approach. Directly donating to a museum would have been a wiser choice I would think.

FBI seizes trove of cultural artifacts at 91-year-old Indiana man's home

I don't think the Federal government is that interested in making sure some ancient Iraqi artifact is returned to the Iraqi government, nor do they want to bust this old timer for having a 100+ year old shrunken head or two. I do think the Gov. is interested in how he acquired his Indian...

      Turkey Run. what a hoot!

Any Ice left? I was there 2 weeks ago with the wife and kids. It was a good time. Very mucky in some areas which made it difficult to keep footing. Had to throw blankets over the seats for the ride home. Happy to see the bridge is finished.

      Any activity at Goose Pond?

I was over there on 3-11. Lots of Sandhills, tons of assorted Ducks and Geese. Saw 3 snipes and 8-10 Northern Bobwhite. Heres a video of one of the pools if you like ducks. The hand held video is a little shaky. Didn't want to spook them so I used a heavy Long Telephoto Lens...

      Whooping Crane in Flight

Looks like you had great lighting on that shot. I saw a Sandhill crane that was banded and also had an antenna attached. It was at GPFWA on March 1.

      Sandhill Cranes

I do enjoy Sandhill Crane photos.....Thanks fellas My youngest and I were out at Goose Pond on the 22nd. Lots of Sandhills. Also observed 3 Whoopers in flight. Ponds are mostly iced over still. Not a lot of ducks but several Snow geese and greater white-fronted geese. Eagles are on the...

Bad things about living in Indiana

Too many litter bugs here in Indiana. Can people not take their fast food cups and bags home with them instead of flinging them out the window when they are finished. Its not just our highways; even our lakes and streams are garbed with trash. On the bright side, there isn't normally any...
