      I almost got my cat with the spring from my 1911 when I was cleaning it. First time cleaning a 1911 and didn’t realize I needed to keep holding the spring, it went flying across the room right by my kitty. Scared her but she was fine. Glad it was just a spring and not a bullet!

      The icing on the cake is apparently he abandoned his dog, didn’t take it with him when he left. He got it as a PR stunt to seem more likeable a few years back, and now that he’s out he just abandoned it. How heartless can you be to just abandon a pet like that? Despicable.

      I’m with progressive and they likewise had a cap of $2500. I’ve thought about looking for extra coverage but I don’t think it’s worth the extra hassle or expensive for me at this time. Made sure to get pictures and a list of all my guns and serial numbers in case I need to make a claim...

      Sadly yes. I grew up in a liberal household and my parents hate guns, so I was never exposed to them and just reiterated their views until I learned more about the matter.
