      i wouldnt put a pad on it. no offense to anyone but if you cant handle the recoil of a 30-06 then you should just sell your guns and find something else to do with your time. i would on the other hand find a nice vintage scope for it

      i need help mounting a scope on an 80 dl. i have a weaver #2 side mount which i was told could go right on but it looks like i would have to cut away some of the stock. is there anything i can do so i dont have to cut the stock? any help is much appreciated.
