That is why I was asking each child their name and introduced myself to them as well. Regardless of long hair, skin color, sexual orientation, etc....ALL of the kids out there yesterday were wonderful in their own right....and NOBODY deserves to be called "IT". For those parents that might be...
As another female volunteer working the firing line, I too saw many gracious young ladies that were anxious to learn and shoot. And, I might also add the young men were very well mannered and wonderful to work with as well. All in all, it was a very successful, fun day.
Next year, maybe we...
Thanks for posting that. Yes, while it is "politically correct" and the right thing to praise our military, few know that while you are serving, some of the worst critics are the fellow soldiers toward one another. You don't dare get injured or fall out on a run. If you are injured, you...
I love old pictures like that. Makes me appreciate how things look today....it's nice to be reminded that before us, there were some VERY hard working people that paved the way so we could have it better. I'll check out the rest of them, thanks.

There isn't any good reason for discrimination in the world, however, when corporate America decides to jump on the "political statement train"', it is every individuals's prerogative to patronize (or not) those companies that do. i.e., Coke, Chick Fil A, Hobby Lobby, etc.
Because it's not good enough or profitable enough for corporations to appeal to the masses anymore. They have to drum up a campaign based on the "out of normal range" to get attention. Look at the Coke commercials from the SuperBowl. Great example.
Corporations anymore get free publicity for being politically correct, or defending the minority, in this case, the gay population and liberals. I'm with you though SadClown, what does beer or St. Pattys Day have to do with sexual orientation? Crazy.
