      Burris Eliminator 3 question

Thanks Vette. Their website says "forever" warranty. I thought the optic concept looked interesting.

      Burris Eliminator 3 question

Has anyone had experience with the Burris Eliminator 3 optics ? I would love to take one out and see how it performs. Since that isn't an option I would like to hear what others think before I purchase. Any help appreciated.

      Flashlight recommendation

I am going on a hunting trip in a few months and want a good quality, bright flashlight. The internet is full of advertisements. I have seen flashlights all over the price ranges. Can anyone recommend a flashlight that is darn bright and rugged ? I trust feedback from real life folks. Thanks in...

      What was your first Handgun?

Smith and Wesson .357 combat magnum. There was a pawn shop not far from the house I lived in that would sell me wad cutter reloads for $4.00 a box if I saved the brass. What cheap fun. There was a old dump area out in the country and down the road was a place called "Whitey's Fish Camp". I'd...

NO POWDER IN A PISTOL LOAD

My brother in law had this happen once when we were shooting. Bang,Bang,pop... I started yelling and he stopped. 124 gr 9mm lodged in the barrel of his P89. I'm glad he didn't pull the trigger again....They were loads that he had put together a few days before. He cautiously shot the rest of the...

Lee Turret Press, good for beginners?

I bought the turret as a beginner on a budget about 22 years ago. I still use it. Later I wanted to try a progressive press so I purchased a pro 1000. I can't begin to guess how many times my sons and I have pull the handle on that thing. I have also called Lee ( several years ago ) to ask...

      repairing my ar 15

AR15.com has some great information as well. To work on your own about all you need is a punch. A hand guard removal tool. Not much needed really. The AR platform is so versatile. So much you can do with it. Have fun !

Clara Lane Walmart, wouldn't sell me ammo because I wouldn't show pink card.

I see, so someone looks at your posts and decides if it has merit and deletes the number they determine don't ? Executive order like so to speak. I just bought a new 45 so going to the classifieds to buy anything is out of the question for me. I'm on a budget..... Took awhile to save up for the...

Clara Lane Walmart, wouldn't sell me ammo because I wouldn't show pink card.

Your right, I don't get it. Feel free to explain your position and lets debate it. We can move to another thread if you would like. :):

Clara Lane Walmart, wouldn't sell me ammo because I wouldn't show pink card.

That's what I'm feeling... Either I didn't explain my opinion well enough or some people feel like the manager made a good choice. I think the manager was out of line and the guy did the right thing. I would have told her to pack sand.

Clara Lane Walmart, wouldn't sell me ammo because I wouldn't show pink card.

I'm not trying turn this thread into anything. I guess my preference on my carry method in that business, after hearing similar Walmart stories has no value to my post. Neither does yours.

Clara Lane Walmart, wouldn't sell me ammo because I wouldn't show pink card.

The manager ( anyone selling ammo ) has the legal right to ask to see ID for age. The situation isn't about being lawful. It's about seeing his side arm and wanting to assert her "authority". If she REALLY thought he was a threat, would she approach him? I would hope she would move employees...

Clara Lane Walmart, wouldn't sell me ammo because I wouldn't show pink card.

Please keep us posted if you hear from them. My guess is they wont contact you. It amazes me the lack of ability some people have to logically process situations and make sensible conclusions. If the SHTF, she would want to be your friend...
