Stir the pot... Your preferred subcompact 9mm.

I have a P365 that is probably by favorite subcompact, it's hard to beat with it's size/capacity. My Kahr PM9 comes in a close 2nd only because of the smaller capacity. Both have been 100% reliable.

      Firearm gifts for Christmas

My wife got me a GPS range back pack. It's really nice, looking forward to trying it out. It's a bit of a hike to the area where we shoot at my Dad's place, a back pack will be much easier than carrying a heavy range bag.

What’s your favorite semi-auto for conceal carry?

Current favorite is a Sig P365, hard to beat the capacity vs size. I also carry a Kahr PM9 sometimes.

      the sig 365

I bought one about a month ago with a born on date of 6/1/18. I only have about 120 rounds through it so far but no issues. I like it a lot, no complaints. I hope to get some more round through it in the next couple of weeks.

      Small Single Stack 9mm Recommendations

I bought a P365 a couple of weeks ago and shot it for the first time yesterday. I like it a lot, i put about 100 rounds through it and it was flawless. The size vs capacity is great and it is more comfortable to shoot than most guns of similar size. I would say it is my favorite small gun. I...

      Opinions Ruger 9mm PCC carbine

I really like my PC9. It's a lot of fun to shoot with the Glock 33rd magazines and romeo 5 red dot optic. Not the best looking rifle in my opinion(but not too bad) but very reliable. I have no complaints and for the money I think it's a great rifle. The aftermarket companies are already...

      Carry at the Indianapolis Zoo?

I went to the zoo last week with my daughter. Carried concealed with no issues. Had a great time and perfect weather.

      Ruger PC Carbine

I shot my PC9 for the first time yesterday and was very impressed with it. I put about 120 rounds through it with using Glock 33 round magazines with no failures. It's a very fun gun to shoot, especially with a red dot sight. The only negative I can find with this gun is that it could be...

      Ruger PC Carbine

I bought the last PC9 at Fort Liberty today. Hopefully I'll get a chance to shoot it soon. Feels great in my hands and I like the trigger, decided on it over the FX-9.

      Joints!!

Glucosamine/chondroitin and fish oil have made a difference for me. Diet can also make a difference, when I eat a lot of sugary sweet stuff I tend have more joint pain. I was hurting around Christmas time and my Chiropractor suggested I keep track of what I've been eating when I have the most...

      Ruger PC Carbine

I'm in the market for a 9mm carbine and I've been wanting to see a Ruger carbine in person. I'm considering the FX-9 and the Ruger. I found the FX-9 in a local store and liked the feel of it but I want to see how the Ruger feels in comparison before buying.

      Sub-Compact Preferences

I didn't want to like my Kahr PM9(i'm more used to DA/SA metal framed guns) but it carries great, is reliable, and I shoot it very accurately. Definitely my favorite Sub-Compact size gun that I have ever shot or owned.

      Forgetting your EDC

Yes I have left mine at home before...feels weird with out it. Once in awhile I forget if I have to make an unexpected trip to the store or something like that especially on a weekday that is out of the standard routine. I forgot to carry on a trip to Walmart last week, made me uncomfortable...

      Carry Ammo

I'm using Federal HST too. HST is priced reasonably and seems to do pretty pretty well on the ballistics tests so I chose it over the others. Also very important....don't forget to test your carry weapon with what ever ammo you decide to carry. I like to go through 200 rounds or so trouble...

      No gun buys in shutdown?

I'm glad gun buying hasn't been affected by the shut down. I wish I could could say my work wasn't affected. Non-essential personnel are sent home then paid for time they didn't work. Projects are stopped and contractors are sent home...then paid for their extra expenses because of the delay...

      The "Sig"ness- vol 1.

P239 or P225 are single stacks that would be a good option for you.

      Accessorizing FX-9

Thanks for the info! I think I will give one of these a try. I've been looking for a 9mm carbine for awhile trying to decide which one to get. I really like the Sig MPX but can't justify that much money for something to plink with so this may be a good compromise.

      Accessorizing FX-9

How do you like the FX-9? I've been thinking about picking one up but haven't talked to anyone who as one yet. I've found a few reviews online but that's about it.
