      Earls auction

It's so easy for everyone to say what should be done AFTER the fact, armchair quarterbacks are the best. I like the part of sticking your finger in the action to check the chamber, just how small are your fingers anyway? I cycled the action and looked into it but I was trying to point out how...

      Earls auction

Went to check out earls auction at today's preview, was looking at one of the Clark custom 10-22's , I cycled the action to check that it was clear and was wanting to test the trigger, when I squeezed the trigger the freaking thing went off and put a bullet through their wall 5 feet in front of...

      SBS - Indiana's First?

Not the first Those are are nice but definitely not the first, did a SBS transfer about 10 years ago on a HK Fabarms pump shotgun

      SBS must be "manufactured"?

I'm doing a Tromix S17, had the gun converted years ago except for the barrel being cut down. The barrel is already threaded back where it will be cut off for the shark brake, it will have a 7 1/2" barrel

how long is a chamber reamer live pilot?

I think it will depend on the manufacturer, but to answer your question, if you were to open a .223 chamber up to a 22-250 I would say you would start making contact on the chamber diameter BEFORE any pilot would be in the bore, from memory most pilots are about 1/2" long at most

308 suppressor and 300 blackout and 22 suppressor question

Quietest is more subject then the actual numbers, the tone and other aspects can mean more then just db numbers. Supposisdly the sure fire cans are at the top but their prices are higher then you want to pay. I have a SAS titanium 7.62 screw on can that was in your price range that I'm very...

Rebore Israeli .308 Mauser To .338 Federal

Who's going to bore out the barrel and re rifle it ? Was he just thinking about the chamber? I think he posted this using that rifle to "stir the pot" or troll, maybe bragging about what he has

Pole barn garage attached to a house

Probably because of regulations concerning having a detached structure that exceeds the house size, being attached it doesn't apply. If detached would probably need variances along with the hassle

Looking for someone to cut threads into a M91/30

I do threading, question is are you just bringing the barrel, barreled receiver or just bringing the whole gun? Most times the prep work takes a lot longer then the actual work
