The only options we have locally are a DNR owned/ran range and the local Izaak Walton League. The Izaak Walton League's range isn't very big and there are other members that want to use the range so it's not always available when Jay needs to schedule classes. Jay is a member and officer at...
Posting this up for my friend Jay, who owns Indiana Firearms Training here in northeast Indiana. Any help would be greatly appreciated, whether you can attend the county board hearing or even just write a letter of support. Thanks in advance!
"Indiana Firearms Training has requested a...
I'd like to go but the kids asked us to babysit our granddaughter. She's 3 and has me wrapped around her finger, so I'll be home watching Paw Patrol reruns and making PBJ's instead of fighting the crowds.
Beto never stood a chance, so it's not surprising he's out of the race. Only good thing that came from his running is some of the memes making fun of his b*ll****.
My wife and I saved money just in case we went on strike, and she's still working so we're good. Some people just can't save whether they make 8 bucks an hour or 28. And of course in some cases life happens and they just can't save. It's hitting everyone differently and I'm not one to judge...
Well, the trip to the UP was a bust. Everything was still really thick and the clearings I had planned on hunting were full of waist high ferns. Made it hard to hunt with rifles. I should have taken the shotguns and hunted the really thick stuff, but oh well. Will try again this winter. Still...
Whoa, whoa, whoa! Now wait a minute right there. I put the :pafter "with all due respect" so you HAD to take it respectfully. I think that's the law of the internet right? Lol! Seriously, I didn't mean any disrespect with my reply. It's just that I hear that the union only protects the...
Glad to see these new offerings coming out but being that I prefer to carry a compact size vs a sub compact, I'll pass on this one. I do look forward to some range reviews though.
No you do not. You can opt out. Had a couple of people do that before Indiana became right to work. Not sure of the details but one guy cited religious beliefs I know. He did that decades ago. Not many opt out though.
Seen the car driving through the mall on the news the other day. I had to laugh out loud when I seen the footage of the young lady videoing her self with her phone as she ran in "panic". Today's society...if you're in fear of your life, the first thing you should do is get that camera rolling...
Of the price of a new vehicle, labor costs are under 10% of it. I believe it's around 6% but would have to look it up and verify it. I agree the prices of new vehicles are going through the roof but so is the price of a house, land, groceries, etc. I sometimes think I'm just getting old. Lol!
I haven't been out yet this year but am going to start with a trip up to our land in northern Michigan (upper peninsula). They're thick up there so my son in law are going up to chase coyotes for 5 days starting Saturday. Looking forward to some hunting, camping and cool mornings in the northwoods.
I'm a little late to the party, but just started watching season 1 of Jack Ryan. Great show once I got used to seeing Jim from The Office as a government agent. Lol
