      Long term storage of whole powdered milk?

      Does anyone know the best way to long term store whole powdered milk? I want to get the Walmart stuff and put it in Mylar bags with 02 absorbers, is this the best way? Thanks:)

      Retention pond water?

      I have a retention pond in back of the house, I only have a short term supply of drinking water. The pond has runoff from the streets oil, gas, whatever is poured down the storm drain, fertilizer, pesticides and what not from the yards. Is there any way to make this water drinkable?       Scope for my DPMS .308

      What scope should I look for for my .308 I got at the last gun show? I am making it a sniper rifle, I would not like to spend $1500.00 like I did on my ACOG for my AR-15. Any suggestions?

      .308 and 7.62?

      Just to clarify my dpms panther is stamped .308 but I can fire 7.62 with it correct? I know I should not fire 5.56 out of my mini-14 just .223 I just want to make sure if I can fire 7.62 from the .308. Thanks
