      I have an old 22 that has a disgustingly dirty action, based on a casual visual inspection with a flashlight. Can I really just hose down the inside of the action without taking it apart with something like Rem Action Cleaner and let it air dry? That seems almost too good to be true.

      A good general purpose lubricant?

      Since I got a lot of good advice on cosmoline removal, it occurred to me that I'd better find a good general-purpose lubricant for this SKS of mine when I get it cleaned up. Any suggestions? Thanks again! :patriot:
