    The Longest Day.
75 things you don't need to know.

I've seen that movie a bunch of times. One of the best WW2 movies on D-Day.
The Germans speak German, the Americans and Brits speak English, and the French speak French ... in many Americain WW2 movies they just all speak English for some reason.

I've visited a bunker used in the movie in one of the few scenes actually shot in Normandy.

They had it painted for the movie. Not sure how accurate it is.
A lot of bunkers had camo paint.

On the first pic you can see they tried to hide the holes on the surface of the bunker, 3 are still visible on top.

Well, they speak English in a lot of movies, because we don't want to read while watching a movie.

But... that being said, the movie was great.
